Indications/Uses
Knee pain in OA for patients who respond inadequately to conservative non-pharmacologic therapy & analgesics.
Dosage/Direction for Use
1 IA inj in 1 knee only. If treatment is bilateral, separate syringe should be used for each knee.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Patients w/ knee joint infections or skin diseases in inj site.
Special Precautions
Not to be inj intravascularly, extra-articularly or into synovial tissues & articular cap. Not to be used in severely inflamed knee joints. Aspirate synovial effusion prior to each inj. Lymphatic or venous stasis; diabetes & chronic disorders. Avoid strenuous or prolonged wt-bearing activities. Concomitant use w/ other IA inj. Not to be used w/ quaternary ammon compd-containing disinfectants. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn.
Adverse Reactions
Inj site pain, heat sensation, reddening & swelling.
